MacKenzie‐Dow Announces New Additions
Posted on Oct 12, 2012
High Point, N.C., <October 12, 2012>: In a challenging economy, consumers are looking for quality products that will last. MacKenzie-Dow, a fine furniture manufacturer based in Huntington, West Virginia, touts that their pieces are just that.
“Our products are handmade in the United States from start to finish, and we offer customization options beyond stain and hardware at a reasonable cost, ensuring customers get exactly the product they desire,” said Gary Adams, President of MacKenzie-Dow.
Featuring products from four collections – English Pub, Piccadilly, Toscana Manor and Yesterday River – MacKenzie-Dow employs centuries-old woodworking and joinery techniques to construct elegant creations that promise both enduring value and sophisticated style.
While a more traditional look has been their signature style for many years, MacKenzie-Dow has been finding much success with many of their new transitional pieces. Ten new products are being debuted at High Point Market, including the Berkley Dining Table and Chairs. Creations of noted furniture designer Shannon Lookabill, this extension of the Berkley Group is presented in response to customer demand for transitional furniture.
“We have a good mix of traditional and transitional pieces being introduced this Market,” said Bonner Adams, Controller at MacKenzie-Dow. “We’ve heard and responded to consumers asking us to expand the transitional line, but at the same time, we’re not abandoning our traditional roots.”
MacKenzie-Dow is looking forward to their second Market in their new showroom located at 119 North Hamilton Street, next to Marge Carson.
High Point Furniture Market runs October 12-18. The showroom will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
