Meet Holly! If you stop by our new Downtown Huntington Design Studio, she’s likely the smiling face that will greet you at the door. She was born and raised here in Huntington - a graduate of Huntington High School and Marshall University. She has always had a passion for the industry and chose to make it her profession with an internship at 17 followed by degrees in art and interior design. In addition to her position at MacKenzie-Dow, she serves as adjunct faculty for the interior design program at Mountwest Community & Technical College. She also serves on the advisory council for both Mountwest and the Cabell County Career & Technology Center. Holly has experience with both residential and commercial design, has mentored several interns and has written design articles that have been published online. When she’s not in the studio or classroom, you may find her hosting dinner parties, traveling, creating art, or rescuing animals. Stop by the studio and say hi. Holly would love to share the story of MacKenzie-Dow with you and walk you through the process of making your house a place of refuge.
We hope you’ll join us this weekend for our Open House! Peruse the new design studio, and enjoy complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres. We’ll kick off events Thursday at 3 pm with a ceremonial ribbon cutting, including Mayor Steve Williams.
