This project by Gabberts Senior Designer Christine Sutphen was an extensive remodel in a small home. Christine designed the space to provide function as well as comfort in the limited space available. Several pieces used in the home are from Mackenzie Dow, one of our “Made in America” vendors.Check out the photos from Gabberts Design Studio & Fine Furniture.  We are proud to partner with them in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.  Christine did a wonderful job here.  Keep up the good work!!!

Take a look at this custom Charleston Kitchen Island making its way through the factory. This piece features a 12” overhang on one side. You’ll also notice the black rub through around the panels. Enclosed panels are pre-stained during the construction process to ensure that should the panels shrink because of expansion / contraction a “halo” effect with un-stained white wood showing does not occur. This is a construction feature that often goes unnoticed and unappreciated, because the only way anybody would notice it would be if a panel shrunk and it was not pre-stained. This is just another example of the time and precision we put into each piece of our furniture to ensure you’re getting a quality product that will last for generations.
